Dear Candy,
Thank you for making the arrangements for my visit to Shanghai. Everything worked smoothly and I enjoyed my time there. This trip to Shanghai was part of a two and a half week trip to China. The first part was spent in Chengdu as my daughter had been working at the Wolong Panda Research Centre. We had moved from the area before the earthquake but realise how lucky we have been. My daughter is very upset at the loss of some of her Chinese friends. We spent time in the Three Gorges, arranged by Morgen of China Highlights, and enjoyed this. We also enjoyed our visit to Xian. The countryside in Guizhou is beautiful. Shanghai was quite special especially the Old Town. The only disappointment in the whole time was that the trip to Suzhou and ZhouZhang was spoilt by spending over two hours in the silk shop at Suzhou so that we only had a short time in ZhouZhang(It was an group tour organized by another travel agency). Overall my ...more

Dear Sunny,
Many thanks for all your help. We had a great time in Xi’an and our guide was superb, she really knew all her stuff! Now some other friends want to come to China with us next year, so we shall be contacting you again for a trip in October 2009 and possibly even another trip with nine of us in 2010!
Regards Graham

Dear Candy,
The Li River cruise was the most memorable attraction I visited. The most outstanding tour guide, Viviene was considerate, perceptive to the group's preferences and very professional. Ming was very knowledgeable and very popular with the group.Java had excellent historical knowledge and was very responsive to the group's needs. Although we only saw Helen (in Yichang) very briefly, she impressed us with her sincerity, thoughtfulness and local knowledge. All your guides were friendly, informative and professional. All the hotels were good, although the Pu Dong Ramada seemed disorganised compared with the others and few of the front desk staff in Chengdu spoke English. The Marriott in Chongqing was superb ... but not one of yours! The meals throughout the trip were excellent. The variety was commented upon by several group members. English people eat a lot of very spicey Indian food so our guides' concerns that some meals may ...more

Thank you for advising me of the refund for the tickets.

I have now returned from my trip and I would like to thank you and your team for the excellent service throughout our stay. Everything worked very smoothly from the collection of the train tickets at Hong Kong Kong airport to the tours and redelivery to Beijing airport at the end of our stay. I would particularly like to thank Emily our tour guide and Mr John our driver who were always on time and were both knowledgeable and helpful with all the tours that we went on. Thank you once again. Regards Paul Scott

Hi Eva:

Thanks. We did have a wonderful time. You were very much a part of the special memories my family have taken away from the visit to your beautiful and bountiful country.

Attractions: Whilst Xian was truly beautiful and inspiring the most memorable aspect was certainly the Great Wall – its scale and natural beauty was simply so spectacular. Aside from the obvious - absolutely not too be missed Beihai Lake and Lama Temple in Beijing and something they might not think off to go to the lowering of the Chinese Flag in Tiananmen Square – which is a strangely solemn occasion and well respected by the very many hundreds of people who go to watch this event.

Guide: Without doubt the best tour guide was Lee (your guide who took us to Xian) she was well informed and so passionate about her work which was infectious.

Hotels and Meal: We loved the Holiday Inn hotel in Shanghai as it ...more
