Detailed Itinerary: You'll be met on arrival in Beijing. On the way to the Hotel, your guide will explain tomorrow's arrangements. Spend the rest of the day exploring the nearby streets, or resting and catching up on your jetlag. Beijing is a city of amazing contrasts - an ancient capital with some incredible historical sites, and a bustling modern metropolis getting ready to host the 2008 Olympics.

Day 2 Aug,7 2008

Today's Activities: Great Wall at Mutianyu, Mutianyu Cable Car(round trip), Temple of Heaven
Meals: Chinese Lunch
Detailed Itinerary: Be Chinese for the morning as we join with the thousand of local people as they practice Tai Chi at the Temple of Heaven before breakfast. Join in or just watch, it's your decision. And an half day visit to Mutianyu Great Wall, a less-crowded section with a pleasant drive 90km NE of Beijing. Cable car is arranged to avoiding the steep climb. You can walk along the wall, through the watch towers and enjoy superb views as it snakes across the hills and mountains. You can return by cable car. Wear good walking shoes and protection from the weather. Return to the city in the late afternoon to catch up any evening sports you've booked or exlore more of Beijing on your own.

Day 3 Aug,8 2008

Today's Activities: The Forbidden City, Hall of Clocks and Watches, The Tian'anmen Square
Meals: Chinese Lunch
Detailed Itinerary: Half day visit of the Forbidden City. This imperial Palace is home to 24 Emperors between 1420 and 1911. Great Squares, halls and gates contrast with the intricate networks of side halls, gardens, courtyards and quaters for those who lived in this 'city within a city'. We also specially arranged a visit to the Hall of Clocks and Watches, where you can see the clock history of the past 200 years over the world and an inner architecture of the Forbidden City. You will also pay a visit to the Tian'anmen Square.
If you have got the lucky tickets for the Opening Ceremony, your guide will accompany you to the Olympic sites.
