Day 1

Place & Transport: Beijing to Overnight train, Train No. K265 Dep 2:00PM - Arr 7:53AM
Detailed Itinerary: Train tickets will be delivered to your hotel or train station. Overnight in the train.

Day 2

Place & Transport: Overnight train to Yabuli
Today's Activities: Train station to Hotel Transfer (Yabuli), Yabuli Ski Resort,
Detailed Itinerary: Arrive at Yabuli Train Station at 7:53am(Please note there is only 3 minutes for you to leave the train, then it will depart for Mudanjiang). Your guide will meet and transfer you to the Yabuli Ski Resort, the largest ski area with best facility in China. Yabuli has a number of quality down hill and country trails, some of which are comparable with those in North America and Switzerland. In 1996, the resort hosted the 3rd Asian Winter Games successfully. The resort is not only famous as a ski resort in China but also renowned for its scenic beauty.

Day 3

Place & Transport: Yabuli
Meals: Breakfast
Detailed Itinerary: Full day to enjoy skiing after your own breakfast.
The ice entertainment includes snow motorcycles, snow biking, horse-sled, off-road vehicle and etc. Lunch will be arranged on your own at the resort.

Day 4

Place & Transport: Yabuli
Detailed Itinerary: Full day to enjoy skiing after your own breakfast.

Day 5

Place & Transport: Yabuli to Harbin to Beijing, Train No. D26 (Harbin Railway Station - Beijing Railway Station) Dep 3:38PM - Arr 11:33PM
Detailed Itinerary: Free in the morning until be transferred to the train station for your train back to Beijing.

Some basic Tips

Run/trail colour coding - Green slopes are the easiest, then blue, red and blacks are the most difficult. Ski with care and choose the right grade to start.
Dress Code - Stay warm! It is best to check the weather forecast every morning before you get dressed and ski.
Get sunglasses for the sun and goggles for the shade/cloud.
Have a thermal layer next to your skin instead of a cotton under layer.
Wear one pair of socks is enough- more will actually make your feet colder!
Make sure your outside layer is waterproof.

Insurance - accidents can happen. Make you sure you get travel insurance that includes winter sports cover. CHT buy travel insurance for each client, but we still recommend you to take out comprehensive travel insurance that will cover any oversea medical cost at your home country.

Tips for the Yabuli Ski Resorts

Winter season starts form Nov to second year Apr. It is also a good choice for fishing, hiking, swimming, grass-gliding and golf from June to September.
Beginners can take training class or hire a private coach.

    If the restaurant indicated is not available on the day, your guide will arrange another restaurant from our list of approved restaurants. Breakfast is usually a western style buffet. We endeavor to ensure that a choice of western and Chinese breakfasts is supplied, however there may be occasions when only a Chinese breakfast is available in some remote locations.
  • Private Transfers:
    Transfers between train station, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing in Beijing, Yabuli, Harbin by private air conditioned vehicle with a driver and English-speaking guide (as listed above).

    As outlined in the itinerary an English-speaking guide and driver will be provided in each city, who will remain with you throughout your time in that city. A new guide and a new driver will meet you at each city on your tour, to provide you with the best local knowledge available.

    All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
